The heat treatment that guarantees the final properties of the product is called heat treatment of the finished product. Finished heat treatment includes finished annealing, solution treatment, quenching, natural aging and artificial aging. In addition, the heat treatment of the finished product also develops a grading aging and deformation heat treatment process. The aging treatment not only improves the mechanical properties of the product, but also improves the stress corrosion resistance and fracture toughness of the product. The transfer time from solution heating to quenching should generally be controlled within 30 seconds. The quenching cooling rate is to ensure that the supersaturated solid solution is obtained without excessive quenching stress and bending deformation of the product. The coils and sheets are annealed in a powerful circulating ventilated box furnace, a pit furnace, a vertical sheet continuous annealing furnace or a gas cushion continuous annealing furnace. The new furnace uses a protective atmosphere. Quenching is generally carried out in a salt bath. The new process is quenched using an air-cushion continuous quenching furnace.
